Megan Cramer (She/Her)
My Approach
My approach to therapy is non-pathologizing and non-hierarchical. I view you as the expert on your own life and will collaborate with you to understand your experiences and the narratives that have kept you stuck. Through curiosity and creative questioning, I'll help you separate from your problems, break free from cycles of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-doubt, and move toward a felt sense of ease, self-trust, and acceptance. In a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space, I will encourage mindful self-reflection and awareness, emotional connection and regulation while supporting you to re-author and reframe your life stories by focusing on your strengths, values, commitments, and future preferences.
My style is eclectic, meaning that I practice narrative therapy and other therapeutic modalities, always striving to offer tailored solutions and strategies that suit a client's unique needs, goals, and preferences.
On A Personal Note
I live in the Durham Region with my partner and our two rabbits, Luna and Zeke. I lean into a spiritually connected and mindful life, practice meditation and gratitude and work to expand my intuitive wisdom through tarot, reading, and reflection. Movement and exercise are essential components of my daily routine, and I practice veganism for both ethical and environmental reasons. I cherish connection and find joy in spending quality time with friends and family, always looking forward to the next event or adventure. I enjoy hikes in the forest, listening to vinyl records, riding motorcycles, paddleboarding, and expressing my creativity through macrame.
