My Approach
Thanks for being here! I understand that starting something new can be daunting. My hope is to provide a warm and welcoming space where we can ease into a process of discovering, healing, learning, and understanding together. During our sessions, I strive to foster a collaborative dynamic while using a person-centred, solution-focused, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and intersectional approach. My ultimate goal is to ensure that you feel heard, seen, validated, and supported throughout your journey, with a few laughs along the way when needed.
I believe in taking a mindful and self-compassionate approach to well-being, viewing it holistically. No matter where you are in your journey, I will create a genuine, non-judgmental, therapeutic environment where you can share your experiences openly. In this space, you will be encouraged to embrace your full potential through increased self-awareness, self-kindness, and grace, giving you the confidence to work towards your unique goals.
On A Personal Note
As complex humans, I always find it challenging to describe myself as my needs, interests, and hobbies are ever-changing. For certain, my love for dogs is something that remains the same! Out of the therapy space, you will find me spending time with my partner and our pup, Finnegan.
As an introvert and empath, most of the time you'll find me watching something that makes me laugh (cue any good old-fashioned rom-com). I love cozying up with a new wellness read, listening to a podcast, or dancing in my kitchen to recharge. When feeling adventurous, you can catch me at a live show, ranging from alternative rock to musical theatre, or outside in Mother Nature enjoying the scenery through walks, camping, travelling, and extra bonus points if there is water nearby!
